- Sing ye with praise unto the Lord
- new songs of joy and mirth:
- Sing unto him with one accord,
- all people on the earth.
-
- 2 Yea, sing unto the Lord, I say,
- praise ye his holy name:
- Declare and show from day to day,
- salvation by the same.
-
- 3 Among the heathen eke declare
- his honor round about:
- To show his wonders do not spare,
- in all the world throughout.
-
- 4 For why? the Lord is much of might,
- and worthy praise alway:
- And he is to be dread of right,
- above all Gods I say.
-
- hen folk,
- are Idols that will fade:
- But yet our God he is the Lord,
- that hath the heavens made.
-
- l praise and honor eke doth dwell,
- for aye before his face:
- Both power and might likewise excel
- within his holy place.
-
- 7 Ascribe unto the Lord always,
- ye people of the world,
- All might and worship eke, I say,
- ascribe unto the Lord.
-
- 8 Ascribe unto the Lord also,
- the glory of his name:
- And eke into his courts do go,
- with gifts unto the same.
