Here is described the prosperous estate of persons married in the fear of God, and the promises of God’s blessings to all them that live in this honorable estate according to his commandments.

Sing this as the 137 Psalm.
Blessed art thou that fearest God,
and walkest in his way:
For of thy labor thou shalt eat,
happy art thou I say.
 
2 Like fruitful Vine on thy house side,
so doth thy wise spring out:
Thy children stand like Olive plants
thy table round about.
 
3 Thus art thou blest that fearest God,
and he shall let thee see
The promised Jerusalem,
and his felicity.
 
4 Thou shalt thy children’s children see,
to thy great joys increase,
And likewise grace on Israel
prosperity and peace.
